Bayer Consumer Care Diversity Council

To help build a diverse business environment, Bayer Consumer Care participates in Bayer Corporation’s interdivisional Diversity Advisory Council. We have also established our own Diversity Council which focuses on issues such as Talent Sourcing, Employer of Choice, Education & Awareness and Communication.

We believe in Social Responsibility

Our commitment to social responsibility is visible in many areas. One very visible way is through our products, which greatly improve people’s quality of life and even save lives, as in the case of Bayer Aspirin. Other ways we are Changing the World with Great Care are through our Corporate Sponsorships and community involvement. We actively support the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross and United Way organizations. We share our prosperity by donating to the Easter Seals Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of two annual divisional initiatives.

In the local community, Bayer is involved in many ways — from sponsoring summer camp and educational scholarships for disadvantaged children, to supporting local art and music programs, to our annual coat drive for those in need. We are also very proud of Bayer’s award-winning science education program, “Making Science Make Sense”, which brings hands-on, inquiry-based learning into the classroom. This program has been helping to promote science in school districts nationwide for over 30 years. Hundreds of Bayer employees in Morris County and throughout the country volunteer their time in schools, zoos, museums and their communities.

We believe we have a responsibility to the world around us. In addition to making products that enhance the lives of our consumers, we believe it is important to support the communities in which we live and work.

We are committed to improving the quality of life in the world while conserving precious natural resources and minimizing the environmental impact of our activities. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and work with government and industry groups to foster the development of health, environment and safety programs. At Bayer, it is the responsibility of all employees to ensure that the company’s environmental protection objectives are achieved.
